Wheel Lock

Mechanisms to lock and unlock a wheelchair wheel into position. These vary with each wheelchair so be sure to familiarize yourself with how they operate on the participant’s wheelchair.
The term “Brake” is often used when referring to wheel locks, but is less accurate as they are not used to slow the wheel.
