Transfer Board

A board, either made of plastic or wood, that assists with transferring a participant that cannot lift their bottom from one surface to another by creating a bridge in order to take out a gap in between surfaces.
You will hear the term Sliding Board being used but the goal during a transfer is NOT to slide on the board, as that can cause shearing.
