Integrating Locomotor Training Principles to Practice
Course Info:
This course was designed to advance the knowledge and expertise of locomotor training and hands-on skills as a team. The goals for the Parkwood Institute team were to better understand how to plan a treatment session and formulate decisions based on the NRS assessment piece, gauge how clinical sites in the United States are putting rehab into place and gain a better understanding of the research being done in specific SCI populations and how locomotor training is being used within this population.
Thank you to the team at Parkwood for hosting NeuroRecovery Learning and to our instructors, Liz Watson, PT, DPT, Locomotor Training Clinic Supervisor at Magee Rehab Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, and Anthony Gallahar, Research Program Manager, Kosair for Kids Center for Pediatric NeuroRecovery in Louisville, KY.
