Tenodesis

A form of grasp that results from contracture of finger flexor muscle muscles in the hand while the length of finger flexor muscles from the forearm is maintained. The fingers will close when the wrist is extended and will open as the wrist flexes. Tenodesis allows grasp in persons with finger paralysis.
