Pressure Sore/Ulcer

Damage to the skin and/or underlying tissue that usually occurs over a bony prominence as a result of pressure with/without shearing or friction. Characterized by 4 stages, were Stage 1 is most superficial, and progresses to Stage 4, which is the deepest and most serious.
