Description
This course is designed to introduce new employees to the role of the Activity Based Recovery Technician I and to spinal cord injury. Upon completion of this course, students will have a background knowledge of the neuroanatomy of spinal cord injury and how this affects day-to-day life and long-term health outcomes for individuals with paralysis.
Approach
Target Audience: Introductory level course designed to provide employees with background knowledge about spinal cord injury and to introduce the required skills for the Activity Based Recovery Technician 1 position. This course is meant to be a prerequisite for further hands-on training in the laboratory or clinic setting.
